Made some scrolls. They are in te process of becoming photo albums. The two thinner ones on the right have no pictures in them. When I finish they will be just as thick.

Yeah, I do have the pics to do one up, but its never made it to the top of the list yet =)
What materials did you use and how long did it take? I wanna make some.
If you can get ahold of a tube of craft paper thats not too thick it makes these so much easier to make. Think Christmas wrapping paper but its craft paper. Thats what I found so all I had to do was cut a 6inch length off to get the paper for the inside. I used an exacto but maybe scissors would have been fine. Then just glue one end to a dowel, glue a paper cover to the other end and your good.
...
Im thinking I should make a tutorial for these, they are very easy but I get a lot of people asking me how to do the particulars on em.
How heavy are they? I need to make some for my Tenten costume...

Lighter than a average-sized book. Not in the realm of heavy things at all. You might want to try covering the back with colored paper and wrapping it around the edges while putting a semi heavy gauge wire in the edges. Then you could unroll the scroll and hold it up so it looks like youve thrown it. Always wanted to try that but never found the time to experiment with it.
